Castle Bytham is a small, friendly village set in idyllic surroundings situated approximately 4 miles east of the A1. This ancient conservation village is steeped in history, with artifacts dating back to Roman times. There are Saxon stone fragments in the church, medieval coffins in the graveyard, a castle mound which dates from the time of the Domesday Book, a medieval fish farm, a village pond and much more to see.
