The Golden Boar is a stunning 16th century coaching inn oozing charm and character with its original oak beams and open fires and offers superb food, quality ales and beautiful en-suite bed & breakfast accommodation.

Located in the picturesque village of Freckenham, just 6 miles from the horse racing ‘capital’ Newmarket, and set in an acre of beautiful grounds overlooking the Suffolk countryside, The Golden Boar provides the ideal setting in which to escape the day-to-day world for a while. During the warmer summer months our superb beer garden is ideal for al fresco drinking and dining.
